Cincinnati Bengals 2013 Superbowl Champions!
Jay Gruden, so close, but seemingly so far away. I've heard only great things about Jay Gruden and don't get me wrong, I look forward to him being the Bengals next offensive coordinator and calling the plays next season. (Anyone but The Brat really.) I'm convinced that Mike Brown has actually stumbled upon an amazing coaching sign. Over the next 2 years Jay Gruden will have the opportunity to prove he belongs in the NFL. At the same time, if the Bengals do not make the playoffs the next 2 seasons you can definitely assume Marvin Lewis will be axed. This leaves the door wide open for a new head coach in 2013, none other than the man himself, JON Gruden! The Bengals will pull a repeat of the 2003 Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the Gruden's led them to a Superbowl victory. Mark my words, 2013 is the year the Cincinnati Bengals will win the Super Bowl.

Ice Storm 2011
This crap is ridiculous! The sidewalks, cars, gutters, grass, and everything else that lives outside is completely covered in ice! It is raining out, yet it hits the ground and freezes! It's times like these that I wish I lived in a town that didn't receive the extremities of winter. Doesn't mean I hate winter, I just don't like sh*t like this. Luckily, I only left the house today to take my dog out since I worked from home.
I think that days like this have something to say for themselves though. If it was perfect outside all the time, there wouldn't be a reason to have a pizza delivered to you and it would be more difficult to make excuses as to why I didn't go to the gym today. I mean, it's a given that the gym was completely empty today due to this horrible weather, right? Of course!
But, since I'm an optimist, I wanted to put in a link to the coldest place in America right now. That would be Glasgow, Montana Columbus, I love you
Happy Greetings!

The Greatest At Bat of the year!?!
Joey Votto should absolutely be the 2010 NL MVP. Not only does this at bat give a little taste of why he's been the best this year, but the only other person that has numbers even close to his is Albert Pujols. Depending on who has a better week, they seem to be neck and neck. Without Joey Votto, the Reds don't stand a chance at being in contention for the division crown this year. The Cardinals, on the other hand, are loaded with a talented pitching staff and another stud slugger in Matt Holiday.
Joey Votto gets my vote for NL MVP!

The Best Time of the year!!!
That's right everyone, the NFL season is just around the corner and I am once again, giddy like a school girl. As I begin listening to all the ESPN Analysts and reading about all the picks that the supposed 'Professionals' make each year I often wonder how much more they know about football than a typical fan; like myself. I realize they spend hours upon hours watching film and visiting teams to see how they are practicing and playing; but, I was also to look up some of their preseason projections from last year. Most of which was pretty ugly! Why don't the major sports news networks use the NFL pick 'ems as an incentive to keep your job. If my profession is supposed to be to predict who is going to win NFL games, you think that a bad year or two picking teams should put you out of business.
Better yet, have a contest that determines next years Senior NFL Analyst. God knows John Clayton isn't, well, the God of NFL. Have you ever read his articles... they are strictly based on his "feelings" and what he "thinks" is going to happen. For example, John Clayton at his best: "The more I think about St. Louis Rams rookie Sam Bradford, the more convinced I am he is going to be a top quarterback. The Rams might not start him in the season opener, but he'll play at least 12 games this season. "
So, he thinks about Sam Bradford, and he suddenly convinces himself that he will be a top quarterback?
This year I have decided that I will prove my superiority to the NFL Analysts in NFL football picks. Below, you will find my predictions for playoffs teams and Superbowl picks. Each week, assuming I keep up with this blog, I will post my picks prior to the weeks first game.
AFC Division Winners:
Baltimore Ravens
New York Jets
Indianapolis Colts
San Diego Chargers
AFC Wild card Winners:
Cincinnati Bengals
Tennessee Titans
NFC Division Winners: NFC Wild card Winners:
Dallas Cowboys
Green Bay Packers
San Francisco 49ers
New Orleans Saints
NFC Wild card Winners:
Minnesota Vikings
Washington Redskins
There you have it! The 2010 Playoff teams!! More to come later!
